Compare the Controls
If the wall button works but the remote does not, the issue is more likely limited to the remote, programming, receiver, or signal path.
Check Range and Consistency
A remote that works only at very close range or intermittently may have a weak battery, signal interference, antenna issue, or receiver problem.
Do Not Ignore Door Problems
If the opener activates but the door struggles to move, the cause may be mechanical rather than the remote.
